Serena Signorini Born in 1967 in Pisa, in Tuscany she breathed in the air of the craftsmen's and the artists' workshops, and of the design schools of Florence. She carried out her first period of research in the artists' studios, where invention took form with different arts: sculpture, painting, installations and performances.

Towards the end of the eighties, she continued her research and designing in Milan in clothes and accessories for big Italian brands. The poetry of the materials took on a particular importance in her training.

Serena Signorini designs articles in which the various arts encountered during her own experience intersect each other, making maximum use of materials and forms in an unprecedented way.

Today she combines the properties of fabrics and leather with those of stone and of gold, and she experiments with the softness of metals by studying modern and ancient techniques.

Serena Signorini has carefully chosen artisans, artists, technicians and workshops that study the wearability of unusual materials and carry out the different work processes manually, like the first brushstroke on a canvas. The need to elaborate a new way of working has driven Serena Signorini to design a collection that will remain new from one season to another.
